About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Meallmore's Crimond House care home. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, including those with dementia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Registered Nurse/Team Leader in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the holistic care needs of individuals using the service.
  • Provide and promote positive work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies, and legislation.
  • Take an holistic approach in achieving outcomes in collaboration with all departments within the care service.
  • Collaborate with care staff in your department and wider teams.
  • Carry out personal care duties.
Requirements
  • Experience working as a care assistant/support worker or similar care setting is essential.
  • Working towards the qualification to meet SSSC registration requirements.
  • SVQ level 3 or above/equivalent in Social Services and Healthcare (as per SSSC guidelines) is desirable.
  • PDA/Equivalent in Supervision.
  • Communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A kind and caring nature.
