We are seeking a skilled Interpreter Translator to join our team at Language Empire in Bilston, West Midlands. As a freelance interpreter, you will have the opportunity to work with various clients across the UK, providing high-quality interpreting and translation services.
About The JobAs an Interpreter Translator, you will be responsible for interpreting and translating languages for clients in various settings, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organizations. You will work independently, using your skills and experience to provide accurate and reliable interpreting services.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret languages for clients in various settings, including face-to-face, telephone, and video conferencing
- Translate written materials, such as documents and reports, from one language to another
- Work with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored interpreting services
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals
- Fluent in English and another language
- Right to work in the UK
- Aged 21 or over
- Formal qualifications in interpreting or translation, such as DPSI, Community Interpreting, or a degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
- Flexible working to fit around your schedule
