Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Operations Director to lead our Theatres and Anaesthetics Department. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic development and growth of the department, ensuring high-quality patient care and service delivery.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in theatre leadership, with experience in managing change programmes and developing new services. You will be able to demonstrate capability and capacity for clinical service management at a senior level, including strategic business planning, service delivery, staff and financial management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the review of relevant strategies and service plans to underpin the strategic objectives of the services and the hospital.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders to support the delivery of Bupa Cromwell Hospitals strategy and act as the key link between services users and the hospital from both a quality and commercial performance perspective.
- Own and maintain key performance measures for the services, which monitor key outcomes, and demonstrate delivery of ambitious targets to continually improve performance.
- Review/develop the service strategies underpinned by a business plan which will be led to deliver growth and profit generation. Working closely with service users, evaluating service and maximising investment to deliver strong and sustainable growth.
We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of strategic planning and decision making in a competitive environment. You will have experience in managing change programmes within complex environments and be able to demonstrate capability and capacity for clinical service management at a senior level.
