We are seeking a skilled Senior Site Engineer to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for providing engineering leadership and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the engineering function and coordinate with the line manager to provide strategic direction.
- Ensure that site and graduate engineers take responsibility for managing survey equipment and completing as-built surveys.
- Review and create Inspection & Test Plans, and have advanced knowledge of key packages such as concrete, drainage, steelwork, and brickwork.
- Control the components of the SISK Non Conformance procedure and close out NCR's in a timely manner.
- Issue Permits to break ground, review and create method statements and risk assessments, and identify missing information using the project RFI process.
- Fully competent in understanding underground services and risk control procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital information systems.
- Significant experience in design management and possession of relevant qualifications/training.
The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work collaboratively with other engineers, and possess a strong commitment to health and safety.
Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum.
