In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of advanced radar seekers, which play a crucial role in missile guidance, detection, identification, and tracking of targets. The RF Seekers department is a unique environment where diverse expertise comes together under one roof, offering opportunities for discovery, exploration, and specialisation in highly technical areas. As an RF Seekers Engineer, you will work collaboratively amongst teams of motivated individuals to tackle technical challenges and apply your university learning to real-world engineering projects and technologies.

You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, including data analysis, simulation and modelling, algorithm development, lab testing, RF hardware design and test, signal processing, hardware and software integration, and future studies. This will give you hands-on experience in these areas and allow you to learn from experienced engineers. You may also have opportunities to see other exciting areas across MBDA, including new business and bids or field and flight trials.

The salary for this 10-week placement is £23,495 (pro rata), and you will benefit from fantastic site facilities, including subsidised meals and free car parking, as well as flexible working arrangements. As an added incentive, you will have the opportunity to work towards Professional Chartership with the IOP, IMA, IET, IMechE, or RAeS, and we will cover 100% of the fees while you are on the Graduate scheme.
