Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of goods and materials.
  • Manage daily routes and schedules, coordinating with dispatch teams to optimize logistics and minimize delays.
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks and maintenance, reporting any issues or concerns to the relevant teams.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve any issues or problems that may arise during delivery.

Requirements:

  • A valid UK driving license with HGV Class 2 entitlements, driver's CPC, and digital tachograph.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A safety-first mindset, with a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Reasonable physical fitness, with the ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.

  • A competitive hourly rate of £15.51, with an overtime rate of £23.27 once full-time hours have been completed.
