We are seeking talented researchers to explore Quantum Information Science concepts in the context of chemical systems or leverage these concepts to advance chemistry research. This opportunity is a collaboration between UK and US research organisations.
Funding DetailsThe total fund for this project is £2,000,000, with a minimum award of £500,000. The funding will support up to four joint projects, each lasting up to 36 months. Eligible applicants must be based at a UK or US research organisation.
Project RequirementsTo apply, you must have a project lead based at a UK research organisation eligible for UKRI funding and a project lead based at a US research organisation eligible for NSF funding. You should demonstrate parity in the level of effort between the UK and US leads. Each project will have a UK project lead funded by EPSRC and a US-based project lead funded by NSF.
Eligibility CriteriaYou must be based at a UK or US research organisation eligible for UKRI or NSF funding respectively. Applicants and organisations must be eligible to apply for funding from their respective country's funding agency. Applications will be assessed on a rolling basis, with decisions made following consideration of an expression of interest. The final date for EOI submissions is 26 November 2024.
