Mencap is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team in Bridlington. As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities and providing emotional support. We're looking for someone with a genuine passion for supporting others, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build meaningful relationships. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential. A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities is also required. Driver preferred but not essential. Contract options include 22 hours available part-time. Shift times are between 07:00-10:00 and sleep-ins 22:00 - 07:00. All our services are 24hr care, and we prepare rotas at least 4 weeks in advance. Join us at Mencap and be part of a team that believes in equality, diversity, and inclusion.
