Care Assistant Job Description

Bluebird Care is a leading provider of home care services across the UK, dedicated to delivering high-quality care that allows individuals to live their lives with dignity and independence. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers in their own homes, helping them with daily tasks and providing emotional support when needed.

Job Summary:
  • Deliver person-centred care to customers in their own homes
  • Support with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration
  • Build strong relationships with customers and their families, understanding their unique needs and preferences
Requirements:
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to a car
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Excellent level of English
Benefits:
  • An estimated salary of £19,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
  • £0.40 pence mileage allowance
  • 10 to 16 days holiday pro rata
  • Full training induction and a 12-week mentor
