Veterinary Internship in Rotating Medicine and Surgery
3 weeks ago
Delivering exceptional care to pets is at the heart of everything we do at Paragon Veterinary Referrals. We are committed to providing a supportive and stimulating environment for our veterinary team members to grow and develop their skills.
This Rotating Internship is a fantastic opportunity for a new graduate to gain hands-on experience in a variety of disciplines, including internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, anaesthesia, oncology, cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, and neurology.
As a Rotating Intern, you will be exposed to a wide range of cases and develop your skills and knowledge through experiential learning, supported by case-based teaching. You will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of anaesthesia, analgesia, and intensive care, as well as participate in research projects leading to publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
We pride ourselves on our supportive team culture and offer a comprehensive training program, including weekly clinical and non-clinical seminars, an annual intern training day, and access to the Mars Library with over 2000 journals and 600 textbooks.
Our team is passionate about delivering a better world for pets, and we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all our team members.
The Rotating Internship is a 17-month program, with a 5-month introduction to rotations in anaesthesia and critical care, followed by a 12-month rotating internship. You will be supported throughout your journey by a primary mentor, secondary mentor, and dedicated graduate and intern contact points within the Linnaeus Central Support Team.
We are proud to count some of the finest specialists, veterinary surgeons, and nurses in the UK among our team and offer huge development opportunities across the group for our Associates.
Join us at Paragon Veterinary Referrals and be part of an amazing global family that is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
We are an equal-opportunity employer, committed to fostering a culture that is inclusive and diverse for all our associates.
