Structural Engineer Apprentice

We are seeking a highly skilled Apprentice Structural Engineer to join our team at CST Industries, Inc. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for performing structural analysis and design of various metal storage tanks.
Key Responsibilities- Design and analyze metal storage tanks, including liquid and dry bulk storage, and various roofing structures.
- Collaborate with sales, drafting, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely and accurate design delivery.
- Review and approve drawings and structural design calculations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Assist senior engineers with complex design projects and provide support as needed.
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Civil, Architectural, or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering school. A Professional Engineering license in Structural and/or Civil engineering is also required. Additional certifications, such as SE licenses, are a plus. Proficiency in ACAD and/or solid modeling, as well as Excel macro programming, is desirable. You must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Work EnvironmentOur modern office is equipped with the latest technology and facilities. You will work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment with a dynamic team. The workload can vary from 8 to 12 hours per day, depending on business needs.
