Join Protector Insurance as an Underwriter/Analyst

Protector Insurance is a leading insurer in the UK, with a strong presence in the private and public sectors. We are seeking a highly motivated graduate to join our team as an Underwriter/Analyst, based in our head office in Manchester.

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate with a strong academic background in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a similar quantitative discipline. As an Underwriter/Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing data, presenting key conclusions, and participating in operational projects across the business in the UK and overseas.

Our structured training programme will provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in this role. You will gain underwriting experience from day one and develop quickly to expand your technical competence. You will also have the opportunity to attain professional insurance qualifications.

We are looking for a candidate with a high level of attention to detail, who thrives on a challenge and has ambitious career aspirations. Strong IT knowledge, including Microsoft Excel, SQL, and/or Python, would be an advantage.
