Job Title: Highways Maintenance Operative

We're seeking a skilled Highways Maintenance Operative to join our Transportation team in Yeovil. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our highway services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the promotion of customer care by working closely with team members to ensure excellent client and network user experience.
  • Respond to incidents on the network within designated timescales, liaising with emergency services and minimizing traffic disruption.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on the network, operating a variety of plant and equipment.
  • Use WMS/MMW application to provide accurate records of works carried out on the network.
  • Conduct daily defect reports on vehicles and ensure they are cleaned and maintained in good order.
Requirements:
  • Street Works qualified
  • Hold a full driving licence
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
