Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Endoscopy Nurse to join our dynamic team at Practice Plus Group. As a key member of our Endoscopy Department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled and considerate nursing care to patients in the Endoscopy Department, taking into account their specific needs during various procedures.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient departmental operations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures to enhance patient safety and quality of care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest endoscopy techniques and best practices.
  • Support the team in maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols and health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

  • Registered NMC Nurse or HCPC ODP with relevant experience in Endoscopy.
  • Knowledge of inside the procedure room, admitting, and discharging procedures.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety/Risk Management within the operating department.
  • Organisational and management skills within a team.
  • A flexible, positive attitude to performing a variety of duties.
  • Ability to be flexible with regard to working hours.
  • Knowledge of JAG and ability to work under PGDs.
