Job Title: Employment Adviser

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employment Adviser to join our team at Reed in Partnership. As an Employment Adviser, you will play a vital role in supporting unemployed jobseekers in finding and sustaining employment.

About the Role:

The main purpose of this role is to provide excellent customer service to our participants, engage with employers, and promote our services within the local community. You will be responsible for:

  • Meeting with jobseekers to identify their challenges and barriers to employment
  • Booking jobseekers onto relevant training courses, including customer service, security, hospitality, and personal development
  • Supporting jobseekers with CV writing and job application processes
  • Liaising with employers to identify employment opportunities for jobseekers
  • Outreach work to promote Reed in Partnership within the local community

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Coaching and mentoring experience, with persuasion and influencing skills
  • Experience of working in a customer-facing environment
  • Experience of working in a performance-target-driven environment
  • Willingness to travel locally to meet customers and employers
  • A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma, in combination with GCSE English Language Grade B or above
