Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the health and safety culture within a leading logistics company. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, coaching, and guidance to build robust health and safety capability across all levels of the site.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement health and safety strategies to ensure compliance with UK regulations.
  • Collaborate with employees at every level to foster a strong, proactive health and safety culture.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to evaluate health and safety performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with contractors, regulators, and enforcement agencies to strengthen compliance and maintain high health and safety standards on-site.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven background in assurance roles with experience managing audits, inspections, and certifications.
  • Significant experience in health and safety roles within challenging industries, particularly logistics and distribution.
  • Effective influencing and communication skills to craft high-quality presentations and reports.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make independent decisions.
