We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our logistics team at a key client based in Crawley. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles with care and attention to detail.
  • Checking for damaged or missing items and sorting stock for storage in the warehouse.
  • Taking inventory and maintaining accurate records of goods entering and leaving the warehouse.
  • Picking and packing orders with precision and attention to detail.
  • Ensuring that all orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials meets customers' timescales and requirements.
  • Operating handling equipment and ensuring safety regulations are followed.
  • Overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of the warehouse and work area.
Requirements:
  • Experience working as a Warehouse Operative or similar role is preferred.
  • Good physical condition and stamina.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to accurately count inventory.
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a dynamic environment.
  • Forklift license is advantageous but not essential.
