Job Title: Toolmaking Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join our team at The Recruitment Group. As a Toolmaker, you will be responsible for designing, manufacturing, and repairing press tools in accordance with drawings and 3D models.

About the Role:

  • You will be working under minimum supervision, using your technical expertise to design and manufacture new press tools for various types of presswork.
  • You will also be involved in the repair and preventative maintenance of existing tooling.
  • Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in this role.

Key Requirements:

  • An engineering apprenticeship or equivalent is required for this position.
  • A strong understanding of CADCAM software, preferably Fanuc and Accurite Millpwr, is necessary.
  • Competent use of manual milling machines and centre lathes, surface grinders, CNC milling and CNC turning is highly desirable.

Salary: £32-37k per annum (dependent on experience)
