Job Overview:

Premiserv is currently seeking a dedicated Primary School Cleaning and Support Staff to join our team in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at our site. The role involves commercial cleaning duties to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.

The position requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
  • Clean and sanitise washrooms and communal areas.
  • Open and close the school (Security).
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
  • Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and cleaning products.
  • Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to meet quality standards.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations while carrying out cleaning tasks.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in commercial cleaning is essential, specifically within an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
  • Attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job.
  • Possess a clean, valid Enhanced DBS dated within the last three years.

Salary Information:

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £13.50 per hour.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday.

This is a 52-week position with holidays that can only be taken during school holiday times. The daily shifts are from Monday to Friday, 6am - 9.30am then 2.10pm - 6pm, and Friday 2pm - 6pm.
