About the Role

Your new company is a fantastic not-for-profit organisation that supports a number of service users across Ayrshire and beyond. They are currently looking to recruit a Financial Manager on a permanent basis who will support the finance director and the wider senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Finance and ICT in providing effective and efficient financial services, advice and guidance.
  • Maintain and develop the accounting system (Sage) and the associated procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Work with department managers and budget holders to ensure financial management reporting is delivered on time.
  • Manage the day-to-day smooth running of the finance department to ensure end-to-end processes are effectively delivered.
  • Support the Director of Finance & ICT in the delivery of management accounting.
Requirements
  • Experience as a finance professional, ideally qualified via ACCA, CA, ACA, CIMA, CIPFA.
  • Extensive experience working in a finance role within a complex organisation, preferably in the not-for-profit space.
  • Strategic financial management experience and significant technical accounting skills.
  • Experience of financial and budgetary control systems, including accounts preparation to final statutory accounts.
  • Proven track record of developing and securing excellent business relationships both internally and externally.
