Radiation Therapist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Treatment Planning Radiographer/Dosimetrist to join our team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of the Treatment Planning section, including the production of complex treatment plans and VMAT planning.

Main Responsibilities

• Contribute to the production of treatment plans, including VMAT planning and organs-at-risk outlining.
• Assist in the Mould Room and participate in CT simulation, including cannulation and contrast.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, including IRR and IR(ME)R.

Requirements

• BSc (Therapeutic Radiography), DCR (T) or equivalent and HCPC registration as a therapeutic radiographer.
• Experience in treatment planning, including conformal and IMRT treatment planning and patient immobilization.
• Understanding of hazards posed by ionising radiation and infection control.
