About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Serco, a leading provider of essential public services. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs of HVAC and mechanical systems
  • Assist in multi-trade support of other members of the FM service team
  • Escort contractors around the site as required
  • Install new plant and apparatus as defined and specified
  • Investigate performance issues with plant and equipment and produce related reports and recommendations
  • Become familiar with the operation and maintenance of various systems and equipment
  • Participate in a call-out rota and potential weekend working
Requirements
  • HVAC and/or Mechanical Engineering Qualification (C&G, NVQ)
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • 3 years post-qualification experience
  • Flexible and proactive approach with a commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement
