We are seeking a skilled Freight Handler to join our team at Essential Employment in Birmingham. This temporary role offers an hourly rate of £12.23, paid through PAYE.

The successful candidate will be responsible for picking and packing orders from a walk-in freezer and delivering them using a transit van. A valid driving license is required, with international licenses not accepted.

This is a short-term temporary position that requires the candidate to have Enhanced DBS in place, issued within the last 12 months.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Picking and packing orders from the freezer
  • Loading and unloading goods from the transit van
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in logistics or a related field, with a strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
