About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Girlswear Designer to join our Kidswear team based in London. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating and developing design concepts for young and older girlswear.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement design concepts for girlswear collections
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure consistency and quality across all products
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure timely and efficient production of designs
  • Stay up-to-date with current fashion trends and themes to ensure our designs are on-trend and competitive
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers at all levels to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery
Requirements
  • Proven experience in high-street fashion design across girlswear
  • Commercial awareness of current trends and themes, with the ability to develop the brand and work with production to ensure all products are designed and manufactured in line with the customers' direction and critical path
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with colleagues and customers at all levels
  • Highly organized and efficient, with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Experience working within a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel), Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Ability to design shape and generate detailed tech packs
  • Garment technical knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively with production teams
  • Driven and results-oriented, with a proactive and positive approach to problem-solving
  • Educated to degree level, ideally in a qualification related to fashion design, business, or retail

About the Recruitment Process
