Senior Ruby Software Architect

Conservation Organisation Job
We are a leading global non-profit organisation dedicated to nature conservation. Our team is seeking an experienced Lead Ruby Architect to join us in Cambridge, working on our flagship product.
The successful candidate will lead the development of our core software application and be responsible for managing the team, dealing with stakeholders, and overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of experience in Ruby and Ruby on Rails Development
- 3+ years in a leadership position in an agile environment
- Strong experience with React, Vue, or Hotwire
- Experience with Unix-based operating systems
- API development experience in Ruby on Rails
- Updating software and databases on Unix-based systems
- Test Driven Development (TDD) environment experience
- Keen interest in the natural world and biodiversity conservation
A Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Environmental Science or related field is desirable but not essential.
Salary Details: A competitive salary of £85,000 - £100,000 per annum, including 12% pension contribution and flexible working model.
