About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Professional Recruitment Specialist to join our HR Services team at Thirteen Group.

This exciting opportunity is part of our ongoing efforts to transform our talent acquisition service, ensuring we attract the best candidates for our diverse range of roles.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the full recruitment lifecycle, providing a first-class administration service to hiring managers and candidates alike.

Your role will involve working collaboratively with our Talent Co-ordinator to design and implement effective recruitment processes that meet the needs of our business.

You will also be responsible for attending recruitment events and organizing talent open days to showcase our employer brand and attract top talent to Thirteen Group.

In this hybrid role, you will work mainly from home, with at least one day a week in our office at Hudson Quay in Middlesbrough. You will need to be flexible around business and team needs, potentially requiring more frequent visits to the office when required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the recruitment cycle, ensuring it moves quickly and efficiently, reducing time and cost to hire wherever possible.
  • Process recruitment transactions, including advertising roles, screening candidates, and organizing interviews using our applicant tracking system, Jobtrain.
  • Work closely with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Attend recruitment events and organize talent open days to promote Thirteen Group as an employer of choice.
  • Contribute to various projects, such as embedding ED&I initiatives, ATS development, and enhancing our profile as an attractive employer.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with knowledge of employment law and regulations.
  • Confident user of applicant tracking systems (ATS), with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • A solutions-focused approach, with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
