Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the development of our thermal products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, manufacturing, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality thermal products for regulated environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects in a fast-paced development environment
  • Provide technical leadership for thermal products and operations staff
  • Develop project requirements based on appropriate technology and stakeholder inputs
  • Act as the focal point for thermal products and ensure effective communication with other departments and stakeholders
  • Estimate tasks and execute work packages within defined scope and budget
  • Develop and define product tests, simulate, test & record results to verify system/subsystem requirements
  • Create and improve system proposals for existing and new customers
  • Detailed mechanical design using CAD
  • Analyze current and historical data to reduce costs and improve thermal product quality and identify focus areas
  • Examine, plan, and decide on high-risk opportunities for incoming project enquiries and department growth
  • Ensure all designs and activities adhere to technical and safety requirements
  • Lead project teams to achieve project aims
  • Plan, budget, organize, execute, and control projects
  • Occasional visits to customer sites to assist in the commissioning of thermal products
  • Manage and support Type 0, CPS, ESC, QSR, ESR, MRB, and ECO activities

Qualifications:

Degree level+ or equivalent with proven competence and appropriate postgraduate experience

Work Environment: Normal office, factory, and WFH environment. Travel to customer sites as required (local and international).
