Culinary Expert Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Expert to join our team at a prestigious family-owned nursing home in Co Down. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals and snacks according to pre-set menus, ensuring they are nutritious and meet dietary needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook meals and snacks according to pre-set menus
  • Manage simple stock control and report goods to be ordered to relevant senior staff
  • Keep the kitchen clean and maintain a safe working environment
  • Be aware of residents' dietary needs and respond to their comments and requests
  • Assist in covering leave for other Kitchen Assistant staff
Requirements:
  • Good communication skills to interact with residents
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently
  • Previous experience in a Healthcare catering role and Food Hygiene Level 2 certification
