Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our aerospace products. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Inspecting detailed parts in accordance with design data
  • Performing product Stage Inspections and Final inspections
  • Preparing First Article Inspection Reports (VISUAL FAIR and/or AS9102) and documentation packs
  • Maintaining supplier and reject logs
  • Data entry and administration
  • Good Inwards Inspection
  • Raising non-conformance reports (NCR's) and completing investigations using problem-solving tools (5 whys, Ishikawa, 8D's) and related CAPA's
  • Management and use of calibrated measuring equipment
  • Supporting all relevant functions and promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the team
Personal Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in Aerospace/Automotive environment preferred
  • Previous experience within ISO9001, AS9100 approved organisations
  • Recognised qualifications or experience in Manufacturing and Quality Management Systems
  • Working knowledge of CMM, in particular, Faro Arm training and experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good concentration levels, attention to detail and methodical approach
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and accurately keep records
  • Computer literate, Windows based - good oral and written skills
  • A good team player with a flexible attitude to workload
  • A safety-conscious approach to work
