Main Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team at EJC Recruit Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing tooling quotations, creating drawings for tooling and packing specifications, and working closely with other departments on any drawings required.

Main Duties
  • Provide general drawings support to the production team.
  • Analyse drawings, highlight potential issues, and discuss projects with production for feasibility checks.
  • Produce die drawings and collaborate with the die shop manager to ensure the feasibility of new profiles.
  • Prepare quotations and upload new profiles and amend existing ones in the ERP system.
  • Advise Area Managers on potential changes to customer sections.
  • Collaborate with marketing to produce sales literature and prepare product launches.
  • Report to the Operations Director.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Proficient in using AutoCAD 2D.
  • Fully computer literate.
  • Able to interpret and produce drawings.
  • Ability to work under time pressure.
  • Good work organisation.
  • Thinking creatively and logically to resolve design issues.
Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 8 am - 4 pm, Friday: 8 am - 3:30 pm.

Job Type

Full-time, office-based role.

Salary up to £28k depending on experience.
