Consultant Gastroenterologist Locum Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our team at Triple West Medical. This is a fantastic opportunity for a medical professional to take on a challenging and rewarding role in a prestigious NHS Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the emergency on-call rota on a 1 in 8 basis, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
  • Contribute to the emergency medical and GI bleeding on-call services, working closely with medical, nursing, and managerial colleagues.
  • Take responsibility for the appraisal of all doctors in training, Trust doctors, and non-consultant grades, as delegated by the Clinical Director.
  • Participate in clinical audit, incident reporting, and analysis, ensuring resulting actions are implemented to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Must have GMC Registration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of gastroenterology, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
