About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Director of Learning - Science to join our team at Star Academies. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive science curriculum that meets the needs of our students.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of improving standards and raising pupil outcomes, with a strong focus on teaching and learning. You will be an excellent communicator and team player, with the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a science curriculum that meets the needs of our students
  • Lead and manage a team of science teachers to achieve excellent outcomes
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the science curriculum and make recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with other subject leaders to develop a comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of all students
  • Contribute to the development of the school's overall vision and strategy
