Salary and Benefits


We offer a competitive salary, which is regularly tested against other consultants, with a default 25-days leave each year plus bank holidays and options to buy some or sell that leave. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications, estimated at £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.



Job Description


We have a great opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join our ground engineering and tunnels team in East Croydon. We need to increase our team to meet the growing demands from our clients, especially in the infrastructure sector (particularly rail, highways & water) and energy sector.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Act as a geotechnical engineer in a fast-moving engineering consultancy environment.
  • Manage projects and control budgets.
  • Excellent interpersonal, technical and digital skills.
  • Liaise with clients and produce accurate reports.
  • Able to work innovatively and travel on assignments both within the UK and overseas.


Requirements:



  • A degree in civil engineering preferably with a post graduate qualification in a geotechnical subject.
  • Member of an appropriate professional organisation and be at or working towards becoming chartered.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
