Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Development Nurse to lead and support our nursing homes in Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire. This role will oversee the clinical governance and quality of care for our residents, ensuring that our homes meet the highest clinical standards.

About the Role: As a Clinical Development Nurse, you will be responsible for reviewing and supporting the performance of every home in your region. You will analyze clinical governance data and KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and develop practical strategies to address any issues. You will work closely with the Regional Director, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff to plan and implement key actions to improve standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and support the performance of every home in your region to ensure it meets the highest clinical standards.
  • Analyze clinical governance data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop practical strategies to address any issues and improve the care we deliver.
  • Work closely with the Regional Director, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff to plan and implement key actions to improve standards.
  • Organize new training, help attract key senior clinical staff, and deliver clinical investigations.
  • Combine a sharp analytical mind with the ability to share knowledge, build relationships, and deliver on your action plans.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to be an experienced nurse with a current NMC registration, RN (General), and evidence of continued professional development. You will have worked in a care home environment and as a clinical mentor, including supporting newly-qualified nurses. You will also have a strong understanding of current regulatory requirements.
