About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced Digital Media Strategist to join our team. As a Digital Media Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and executing digital media strategies to drive engagement and reach across our social channels.


Key Responsibilities:


Your primary responsibility will be to ensure our franchise social channels thrive and grow in the German market, with exciting content that resonates with our players.


You will work closely with local influencer, PR, franchise, and territory teams, as well as global counterparts and creative agencies, to develop and implement social media campaigns and content creation.



  • As the primary owner of all local social channels in Germany, you will lead content publishing roadmaps to drive always-on communications that achieve our goals.
  • You will work closely with our social media agencies and be the project lead connecting all efforts across a wide cross-functional team.
  • You will be responsible for originating local content through insights to achieve Franchise goals, and building close working relationships with 1P and local Xbox teams to further amplify that content.
  • Provide some broader EMEA channels management support or cover when required.
  • Be a champion and an internal advocate for our players in assessment of message priority, risk, and cultural feedback.
  • Report on and evaluate the sentiment of German players, to help marketing teams deliver efficient communications.
  • Engage directly with our German community, in key topics of conversation within franchise-owned and earned channels, driving high-quality 1-1 and 1-many engagement.
  • Represent a knowledgebase on the gaming landscape, its players, plus pop culture and competitors in market.
  • Employ creative ways to improve relationships with our players; collaborate with cross-functional teams to support franchise objectives for engagement, reach, and sentiment.

Requirements:


We are looking for a strong communication skill holder with business level proficiency in English, fluent in German (written and verbal), and deep knowledge of Call of Duty game(s) and popular digital channels like TikTok, Meta, and YouTube.


What We Offer:


Our salary is approximately £45,000 - £60,000 per year, depending on experience, with additional benefits including health insurance, flexible work arrangements, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
