We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor Manager to join our Client Team, where you will play a key role in providing a fully technical service, managing and responding to disrepair claims and project managing fire damage and minor works projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage building surveys to ensure accurate and comprehensive assessments of property conditions.
  • Develop and oversee witness statements to support legal disrepair processes.
  • Oversee legal disrepair processes, including Scott Schedules and schedules of work, to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Attend court as an expert witness to provide technical expertise and support.
  • Procure and project manage construction work to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Requirements:

  • Recognized building-related qualification (HNC or equivalent).
  • Experience dealing with contracts and contract management.
  • Knowledge of current legislation relating to landlords' repairing obligations and HHSRS.
  • Ability to work under pressure and think critically to resolve complex problems.
  • Proficiency in IT applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
