About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager to join our team. As a Project Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Monitor and control project costs, timelines, and resources.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.


Requirements:

  • Relevant postgraduate experience in project engineering or a related field.
  • HNC or above in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Member of (or working towards) Association for Project Management (APM) or suitable equivalent professional membership.
  • Proven experience of leadership of complex projects in a project engineering management role.
  • Proven communication skills with an ability to engage with stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Proven experience of schedule management, risk management, commercial / contract management, and conflict management.
  • Proven ability to manage budget and direct project controls.


Salary:

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
