Sterling Recruitment Services is recruiting a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our client based in Northallerton.

This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your mechanical fitting skills and experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out maintenance tasks in line with the maintenance schedule, working closely with the Engineering Shift Manager and Production Manager to minimise plant disruption.

We are offering a competitive salary of £42,000 per annum for this role, which is negotiable depending on experience.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, with a day shift rota between 6am and 4pm and a weekend call-out rota.

Key Requirements:
  • Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical disciplines.
  • Experience in the FMCG industry.
  • Excellent mechanical fitting skills.
  • Possession of a strong passion for engineering and continuous improvement.
