Job Summary

Julia's House Dorset/Wiltshire Children's Hospices is seeking a skilled and compassionate Team Nurse to join our dedicated team. As a Team Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical nursing care to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing care needs and developing, implementing, and evaluating programs of care to meet individual client needs.
  • Day-to-day management of the client base, including deployment, supervision, and teaching of Care Team members.
  • Participating in an on-call rota system to provide telephone support for care staff and families.
  • Managing a team of Carers and taking a proactive role in the education and development of staff.
  • Liaising with the Julias House Care Team and statutory and voluntary agencies involved with Julias House clients' care.
