Senior Physiotherapist

As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will be part of our elite sports team at Forest Green Rovers, working closely with the first team and academy squads to ensure optimal performance and recovery. This is an exciting opportunity to join our medical department, which has been recognized as one of the best in the division for prevention and management of injury.

The role involves contributing to the success and achievement of the football club, providing excellent manual and exercise therapy-based treatments to first-team players, and assisting in the delivery of departmental aims and objectives.

You will work alongside our experienced team to develop and implement rehabilitation programs for injured players, utilizing evidence-based practice and clinical reasoning skills to ensure optimal outcomes.

• To provide first-class manual and exercise therapy-based treatments to first-team players.
• To assist in the delivery of departmental aims and objectives, creating a department viewed as the best in the division in terms of prevention and management of injury.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in physiotherapy, preferably with experience working in elite sporting environments. You should have advanced communication skills, be able to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team, and demonstrate a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

• A minimum of 3 years' experience working in an elite sporting environment.
• Evidence of developing, implementing, and evaluating rehabilitation programs for elite football players.
• Experience of delivering soft tissue/manual therapy treatments in an elite sporting environment.

• Competitive salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
