Teacher Assistant

We are looking for a Teacher Assistant to support our school in Ipswich, United Kingdom. The role involves managing classrooms during teacher absences and ensuring that students remain engaged in their work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with school policies.
- Provide feedback to the teaching staff on the progress of students.
- Support students with their learning when necessary.
- Ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Assist with administrative duties as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a school environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to adapt to different classroom environments.
- Patience and a positive attitude toward supporting students.
- Flexibility to work on short notice when required.
- A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one.
