Job Summary


We are seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor with experience in commercial property to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Commercial Property market and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.



Key Responsibilities



  • Conducting defects analysis of existing buildings and writing reports
  • Managing party wall matters and dilapidations
  • Preparing commercial and due diligence reports
  • Assisting with building surveys, planning preventative maintenance schedules
  • Contract administration and employers agent roles
  • Specification writing for minor works and full scope of maintenance or refurbishment works
  • Site supervision and monitoring construction works


Requirements



  • Chartered Status as a Building Surveyor with dilapidations expertise
  • At least 2+ years' PQE within commercial building surveying
  • A proven track record in successfully working on Landlord & Tenant assignments across various property sectors
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong IT Skills (Microsoft office)
  • Excellent customer-facing skills
  • High levels of attention to detail


Salary and Benefits


The successful candidate can expect a salary of £55,000-£60,000 per annum, plus numerous benefits.



Working Hours


This role involves working Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm, with 2 days' remote work provision per week.
