Senior Environmental Manager | Hybrid - South Wales | Permanent | up to £55,000

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Environmental Manager to join our team at PT Renewables, a leading provider of environmental management services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading complex environmental conservation projects and managing a team of environmental consultants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Motivate and manage a team of environmental consultants, ensuring high performance and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee and sign off on major projects, including contaminated land assessments, flood risk management, and environmental sampling.
  • Lead fieldwork activities, including soil logging, environmental sampling, and spill response coordination.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance Manager to uphold ISO and environmental standards within our Integrated Management System.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on environmental management and conservation practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in environmental management.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in contaminated land management, site investigations, and environmental assessments.
  • A proven track record in managing complex environmental projects from inception to completion.
  • A full UK driving licence and the willingness to travel for site-based projects.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
