Job Summary

Mainstay Facilities is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) for electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform both planned preventive and reactive maintenance work on electrical systems.
  • Monitor and manage the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct regular emergency lighting testing to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults, completing PPM tasks within scheduled deadlines.
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment at all times.
  • Deliver high-quality service to clients, meeting or exceeding their expectations.
  • Report directly to the Operations Manager, executing assigned tasks and responsibilities.
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement and implement changes to enhance delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and legal standards.
  • Monitor the quality of work to meet company standards and client expectations.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance personal skills and competencies.
Requirements
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills and experience with PPM tasks.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance standards.
  • Desirable qualifications: 17th/18th Edition certification and experience in Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).
Working Conditions
  • 12-hour shift pattern, alternating between day and night shifts, on a 4 days on, 4 days off rotation.
  • 24 days of holiday, including bank holidays.
