Reed Engineering have been briefed to recruit for a top employer to join the business on a permanent basis as an Executive Director.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating operations in the factory, leading a team of 40+ staff.

Responsibilities:


Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of all sites and departments, including the factory, depot/trade counter, sales team, maintenance team, transport team and finance department.

Develop and implement strategies to optimise productivity, efficiency, and profitability across all areas of the business.
Manage and mentor departmental managers to ensure effective leadership and performance management.
Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute business plans and budgets.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Cultivate a culture of teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement within the organisation.

Person Specification:
Relevant qualification in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in senior management role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations is highly desirable.

Key Performance Indicators:
  • Optimise productivity and efficiency across all areas of the business.
  • Develop and implement effective leadership and performance management strategies.
