Role Information:
Studio Gobo is seeking a talented Character Artist to join their team in Brighton, UK. As a key member of the game development process, you will work closely with the technical and animation teams to deliver high-quality character models and animations for AAA console titles.

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Character Artist with a strong understanding of human and animal anatomy, as well as expertise in working with games development software such as Maya, Blender, and game engines (ideally UE4/UE5). Your exceptional creativity and problem-solving skills will enable you to excel in this role. You will be responsible for creating stunning character models, documents, and communicates clear technical guidelines for character creation and real-time implementation to the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years' production experience as a character artist in the games industry, working on cutting-edge AAA console titles. A creative thinker and problem solver with excellent communication skills is essential for this position. Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include a generous bonus scheme, private medical insurance, pension scheme, and employee share purchase plan. You will also receive a relocation package if needed, including visa costs and a relocation allowance. Our studio is dog-friendly, and we have a spacious industrial chic studio space with a full chef's kitchen and equipment.
