Job Title: Assistant General Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Leisure People. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager and leading the day-to-day operations of our leisure centres.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coach your teams to deliver exceptional operational performance and health and safety standards.
  • Carry out regular one-to-one meetings and oversee training and development for your team members.
  • Support the duty management and front-line teams to meet and exceed membership sales and learn to swim targets.
  • Take responsibility for the pool plant operations while on duty.
  • Optimise the programming and bookings within the centres.
  • Proactively work with community groups and partners to deliver wellness and health programs.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive basic salary of up to £29,478.
  • 30 days' holiday entitlement per annum, including bank holidays, which rises with service.
