Transforming Service Delivery of Paediatric Long Term Ventilation

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Paediatric Long Term Ventilation Education Specialist.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caring for children and young people requiring long term ventilation, with significant post-registration experience within the speciality.

As a Paediatric Long Term Ventilation Education Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating educational resources and training sessions to increase the competence of healthcare professionals across the North Thames Paediatric Network (NTPN).

You will work closely with the Programme team, Clinical Leads, and acute multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure the effective design, delivery, and sustainable implementation of LTV Skills across the NTPN.

The successful candidate will have excellent time management and organisational skills, as well as the ability to analyse, evaluate, and report educational and training outcomes.

A strong understanding of curriculum design and development, teaching methods delivered remotely or in person, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are also essential.

In this role, you will assist in maintaining a Risk log and disseminating learning from risks/ incidents across the Pan Thames region, and regularly produce reports related to training and education across the network.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
