About The Job Guru
The Job Guru is a dynamic and supportive company that provides comprehensive legal services across various practice areas. We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Cashier to join our vibrant team in Leicester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client and office accounts in accordance with Solicitor Regulation Authority (SRA) guidelines.
- Process payments, receipts, and transfers accurately and promptly.
- Conduct daily bank reconciliations and manage petty cash.
- Ensure compliance with SRA Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and internal policies.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and yearly financial reports.
- Liaise with fee earners and support staff to resolve accounting queries.
- Maintain accurate financial records and produce relevant reports as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Legal Cashier within a law firm.
- In-depth knowledge of Solicitors Account Rules (SAR) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
- Proficiency in legal accounting software.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary (£35,400 - £40,000 dependent on experience).
