About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our care team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our residents. You will lead and supervise our Carers and Senior Carers, working closely with Registered Nurses and Care Practitioners to deliver person-centred care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise Carers and Senior Carers to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support
  • Work closely with Registered Nurses and Care Practitioners to develop and implement individual care plans
  • Ensure the safe and effective management of clinical responsibilities, including recording observations and carrying out simple wound dressing procedures
  • Provide a safe, reassuring, and happy environment for our residents and their families

About You

We are looking for a senior-level care professional with experience of supervising others and developing a good understanding of clinical care for older people. You will need a Level 3 NVQ or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, and a willingness to undertake the assessor qualification. You will be enthusiastic, tenacious, and full of integrity, with strong communication skills and a caring approach.
